About the role

Himalaya International School is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join its on‑site faculty in San Pedro Garza García. You will inspire secondary‑level students by delivering engaging lessons in science, with a focus on physics and mathematics, while fostering a supportive and innovative learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver dynamic science lessons, covering physics and mathematics concepts.
• Design and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse student needs.
• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and formative feedback.
• Create an interactive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to align curricula and share best practices.
• Communicate regularly with parents to discuss student development and performance.

Required profile

• Strong background in science education, with expertise in physics and mathematics.
• Proven experience as a qualified teacher with effective classroom‑management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field (required).
• Teaching certification or relevant licensure (preferred).
• Passion for fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and educational technology tools.
