About the role

Cadence Education is looking for an enthusiastic Seasonal Preschool Teacher to join its summer program. You will create a safe, nurturing environment where young learners can explore, play, and develop essential skills.

Key responsibilities

• Foster a warm, positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and safety.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to deliver an engaging, age‑appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate daily milestones to parents, turning small moments into meaningful updates.
• Guide children’s play with toys, language activities, and structured indoor/outdoor adventures.
• Model kindness and social behaviors that support child development.
• Contribute ideas for a balanced daily schedule that includes quiet time, active play, and motor skill activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Meets all state preschool teacher‑assistant requirements.
• Flexible and willing to work within business hours.
• Preferred: prior experience as a teacher assistant or in a licensed daycare.
