Senior Accountant – Hospitality Industry

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to support its fast‑growing portfolio of hospitality clients. You will own month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensure accurate financial reporting under US GAAP, and maintain strong internal controls across multiple properties.

Key responsibilities

• Drive month‑end and year‑end close, preparing P&L and Balance Sheet statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Streamline balance‑sheet reconciliation and manage increasing volume as new clients are onboarded.
• Handle journal entries, financial reporting, and account reconciliations for multiple properties or client accounts.
• Utilize hospitality and accounting platforms to process daily financial data and improve workflow efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and deliver clear financial information to client stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, property accounting, or outsourced accounting services.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, full‑cycle accounting, and financial reporting.
• Self‑starter with high accountability, able to work independently in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.
