Senior Accountant – Real Estate

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its Managed Services team supporting a leading real‑estate, mortgage servicing and lending client. The role will focus on high‑quality accounting processes, financial close, and reporting in a complex financial‑services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations and financial reporting.
• Administer loan‑level accounting and sub‑ledgers for mortgage servicing and lending portfolios (GNMA, FHA, agency loans, loan sales, loss reserves).
• Ensure accurate recognition of servicing revenue, interest income, deferred fees and amortization.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements under U.S. GAAP, meeting internal policies and audit requirements.
• Drive process improvement and automation using Workday Financials and AI‑enabled tools.
• Collaborate with PwC on‑shore teams and client stakeholders on controllership, financial operations and regulatory reporting.
• Participate in design and execution of transition and steady‑state operating models for outsourced finance.
• Identify opportunities to standardise accounting workflows and support transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred.
• 2‑3 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting (Big 4 or equivalent) and corporate controllership.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, global delivery environment with cross‑border teams.
