Senior Android Engineer (Remote, Mexico)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join our remote‑first team building high‑impact mobile solutions. You will shape scalable, intuitive Android products, collaborating with cross‑functional partners while leveraging modern Kotlin and Jetpack Compose technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Translate product and design specs into technical tasks and own feature delivery from development to production deployment.
• Architect, build, and maintain resilient, well‑tested native Android applications using Kotlin.
• Design robust network layers, caching strategies, and offline‑first workflows for varying network conditions.
• Integrate third‑party SDKs, hardware capabilities, and RESTful or GraphQL APIs alongside backend teams.
• Create modern, responsive UI with Jetpack Compose while ensuring high performance and smooth animations.
• Participate in design reviews, set Android engineering and testing standards, and use AI‑assisted development tools.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in native Android development.
• Proven ability to take greenfield concepts from setup through architecture and launch.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
