Senior Associate I – Accounts Receivable

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate I to manage credit research and collections for customer accounts in Mexico City. You will ensure timely payments, maintain accurate records, and support financial audits while working within a collaborative, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of payments.
• Monitor outstanding balances and conduct corporate collections, following up directly with customers.
• Execute and document account conciliation processes to maintain data integrity.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and support cross‑functional objectives.
• Prepare documentation and assist with inquiries for financial audits.
• Operate SAP to manage AR transactions and generate reports.
• Identify and implement improvements in AR processes while adhering to accounting principles and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, including corporate collections and account reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Industry experience in pharmaceuticals or healthcare is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
