Senior AUTOSAR Engineer

About the role

HCLTech is seeking a Senior AUTOSAR Engineer to work on software that becomes an integral part of Cummins' products. The role involves translating stakeholder requirements into robust, high‑quality software components for a variety of customer applications.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve product software issues, documenting root causes and corrective actions.
• Improve and apply software development processes, including coding, compiling, static analysis, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
• Collaborate with product and software development teams to deliver verified features, components, and builds.
• Provide technical leadership, reviewing work of less‑experienced developers and ensuring reusable, efficient designs.
• Lead smaller business‑impact projects or own complex components with full accountability.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in automotive software development.
• Strong understanding of AUTOSAR architecture, configuration, and product‑line management.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
