Senior Commercial Market Specialist – North America

About the role

Flix is seeking a Senior Commercial Market Specialist to join its North America commercial team. You will combine analytical insight with solution design, working directly with senior leadership to shape the commercial strategy of a fast‑growing mobility network.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse regional performance, competitor dynamics and demand patterns, turning data into strategic recommendations.
• Own fare management for North America, defining pricing settings, fallback logic and verifying implementation.
• Support the design and execution of commercial activities such as promotions, marketing campaigns, A/B tests and sales initiatives.
• Build and maintain a country‑specific campaign calendar across email, social media and other channels.
• Develop briefings for Marketing & Sales, track budgets and coordinate bi‑weekly syncs.
• Identify revenue and customer‑flow opportunities, including social discounts, special products and willingness‑to‑pay insights.
• Track market trends, macro‑economic shifts, regulatory changes and network dynamics.
• Contribute to topline forecasts and propose data‑driven improvements.
• Collect e‑commerce requirements, build business cases and present recommendations to leadership.
• Lead or contribute to cross‑functional projects, acting as subject‑matter expert or project manager.
• Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline commercial processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in commercial analysis, revenue management or business development, preferably in transportation, airlines, hospitality or a similarly dynamic industry.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to design solutions beyond reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management skills; proactive connector who builds relationships across teams.
• Strategic thinker able to navigate fast‑changing macro environments.
• Self‑starter with ownership mindset, accountable for financial targets and project deliverables.
• Curiosity about North American markets, geography and network dynamics.
