Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to manage security capabilities and lead complex L3 incident response. You will design resilient security solutions, turn repeated incidents and audit findings into prioritized roadmaps, and balance security, usability, and compliance across identity, endpoint, email, DLP, cloud, DevOps, product, and AI environments.

Key responsibilities

• Own one or more security platforms end‑to‑end: design, implement, operate and evolve them in line with threats and business needs.
• Act as L3 technical authority for high‑impact incidents, leading investigations, deep root‑cause analysis and defining long‑term preventive actions.
• Reduce exposure surface by improving vulnerability management processes, prioritisation and remediation patterns.
• Ensure operational excellence for anti‑phishing and DLP through advanced tuning, policy design and evidence‑by‑default governance.
• Embed security into DevOps and product pipelines via threat modelling, security tooling, guardrails and shift‑left automation.
• Design AI security implementation patterns covering data protection, identity controls and safe‑usage guardrails.
• Strengthen the SOC partner model by refining escalation criteria, enriching context, improving runbooks and reducing noise through engineering.
• Mentor and coach teams on secure engineering practices, troubleshooting methodology and standards adoption.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, application security and cybersecurity operations or engineering.
• Engineering degree or Master’s in IT/Security preferred; Bachelor’s acceptable with strong track record.
• Professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Mandatory certifications: Azure Security & Governance, Sentinel/Defender, Purview, Entra IAM, Azure Security Architecture.
• Ethical hacking experience is a plus.
