Senior Finance Specialist (Tax Accountant)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Specialist with a strong focus on tax accounting to join our finance team in Mexico City. The role involves managing banking relationships, ensuring accurate tax compliance, and delivering timely financial reports.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with multiple banks to streamline account management.
• Prepare and file tax and related compliance reports accurately and on schedule.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with HR, Legal, external auditors, and tax consultants on finance matters.
• Liaise with the group headquarters finance team on additional finance‑related issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–4 years of finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Expertise in local tax regulations.
• Previous experience at a Big‑4 auditing firm (mandatory).
• Fintech industry experience is a plus.
