Senior Internal Audit & Zama Controller

About the role

The Senior Internal Audit and Zama Controller will provide financial control, performance management, cost stewardship, and commercial support for the Zama offshore development project. This senior position ensures robust financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost control and reporting throughout the project lifecycle, enabling informed decision‑making and value creation for Harbour Energy and its joint‑venture partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost control and reporting for the Zama project.
• Act as the primary interface between Finance, Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Drilling, Sub‑surface, Contracts & Procurement, and JV stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with the Production Sharing Contract (PSC), Joint Operating Agreement (JOA), internal governance standards and Mexican regulatory requirements.
• Ensure transparency, accuracy and timely delivery of all project financial information.
• Coordinate partner audits for non‑operated licenses, guaranteeing adherence to industry standards and effective collaboration across the joint account.
• Guarantee that all activities are performed safely and in line with Harbour Energy HSES policies and relevant legislation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial control and performance management within large‑scale oil and gas projects.
• Proven ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong understanding of PSC, JOA and Mexican regulatory frameworks.
