Senior Mechanical Engineer – Product Design & Field Support

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering support for field quality issues, drive product improvements, and lead complex design programs. The role bridges factory engineering, product certification, and end‑user experience to deliver safe, cost‑competitive solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve field quality issues, delivering timely, cost‑effective solutions.
• Support commercial manufacturing plants with product engineering and design under the Cx system.
• Maintain accurate engineering data, including BOMs, drawings, and specifications.
• Lead mid‑ to high‑complexity projects with minimal supervision.
• Develop and execute test and qualification plans for product enhancements.
• Manage UL and ETL agency reports for commercial products.
• Participate in design reviews with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain world‑class, safe, and cost‑competitive standard products.
• Provide technical assistance for troubleshooting and product support.
• Define technical requirements, drive improvements based on user feedback, and perform corrective actions.
• Develop computer models to simulate system and component performance.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a product/design engineer.
• 5 years of experience implementing product changes.
• Strong knowledge of design processes, tools, and HVAC equipment.
• Proven project‑management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in multicultural teams and deliver results independently.
• Fluent English communication (minimum 90%).
