Senior Motion Designer / Video Editor

About the role

Brandtech+ is seeking a Senior Motion Designer/Video Editor to join its near‑shore production hub in Mexico City. Working in a hybrid setting, you will create motion graphics, animation, and edited video content for five healthcare education institutions, leveraging both traditional tools and the Pencil GenAI video capability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce motion graphics, animated content, and video edits for paid social, digital display, email, and web channels.
• Edit short‑form video content for social and digital platforms, including both traditionally produced footage and AI‑generated video.
• Apply brand guidelines precisely to maintain each institution’s visual identity.
• Collaborate with the Video Editing Lead and Associate Creative Director to manage brief queues, update project status, and flag timeline risks.
• Utilise Pencil and other AI‑assisted motion tools to accelerate creative iteration while exercising strong editorial judgment.
• Participate in review and feedback cycles, taking direction and executing revisions efficiently.
• Maintain organized project files, version control, and asset delivery within the studio’s file management system.
• Contribute to the studio’s motion template library by building reusable, brand‑consistent animation systems.

Required profile

• Senior‑level motion designer and video editor with experience in a high‑velocity studio environment.
• Proficiency in English.
• Based in Mexico City and able to work in a hybrid mode.
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to meet tight deadlines.
