Senior Plant Logistics Project Manager

About the role

AKKODIS, the engineering division of Adecco, is looking for a Senior Plant Logistics Project Manager to lead logistics industrialization for new or modified products at its Nuevo León facility. The role ensures the plant is ready for stable introductions, optimized internal flows, and seamless production ramp‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate plant logistics activities for product industrialization, aligning with the regional End‑to‑End Logistics Project Manager.
• Own and maintain the Plant Logistics Master Plan, consolidating impacts on layout, docks, routes, supermarkets, systems and equipment.
• Manage part introductions and phase‑outs to guarantee point‑of‑use material presentation and line‑feeding readiness.
• Define internal material flows using VPS methods and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) “Friday to Monday”.
• Specify tooling and equipment requirements, including trolleys, lifting tools and material‑handling devices.
• Perform logistics scenario costing, time studies and conversion‑cost impact analysis.
• Provide logistics input to sourcing and packaging development to ensure inbound handling feasibility.
• Anchor logistics decisions within the plant, collaborating with operations, quality, safety and facilities stakeholders.
• Support logistics setup for builds and ramp‑up, and manage escalations through line management.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in plant logistics and project management.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Ability to work 100% on‑site in Nuevo León, Mexico.
