Senior Project Manager – Project Delivery Excellence (PMO)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the Project Delivery Excellence (PMO) function within SSOE’s Strategy & Development group. Reporting to the Senior VP of Business Development, you will design and implement the standards, processes and work instructions that translate our business development promises into reliable project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain company‑wide standards and procedures for project execution, creating unified work instructions.
• Audit and refine Stage 3 activities to ensure alignment with client pain points identified in Stage 1 and technical solutions defined in Stage 2.
• Drive a cultural shift toward inter‑dependence by breaking down silos and promoting unified standards across departments.
• Measure and improve proposal hit rates and fee capture through repeatable operational excellence.
• Leverage AI tools, large language models and advanced coding platforms to streamline workflows and boost productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex projects in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong track record of establishing and scaling operational standards.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional teams and foster collaborative cultures.
• Data‑driven mindset with focus on measurable outcomes such as fee capture and proposal success.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile).
• Process design and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled productivity tools and large language models.
