Senior Semiconductor Design Engineer – DRAM

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking a Senior Semiconductor Design Engineer focused on DRAM memory circuits. You will develop and validate CMOS digital and analog circuits from concept through silicon, collaborating with global design, verification, and layout teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build, simulate, and optimize memory circuits from gate‑level to full‑chip using SPICE and Verilog.
• Develop and validate core circuit blocks such as arrays, decoders, control logic, data paths, and test logic.
• Lead layout activities including floorplanning, placement, routing, parasitic modeling, and tape‑out support.
• Coordinate cross‑functional efforts with CAD, verification, process integration, test, probe, assembly, and product engineering to ensure manufacturability and quality.
• Drive innovation by closing verification gaps and applying AI‑based tools and automation throughout the design flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 3‑4 years of semiconductor experience.
• Strong foundation in CMOS design and memory applications.
• Proven ability to set up, analyze, and debug circuit simulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts.
