Senior Stamping Engineer

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Senior Stamping Engineer to lead Lightspeed manufacturing engineering activities. The role supports existing production lines, new product development, equipment specification, lean initiatives and cost‑reduction programs.

Key responsibilities

• Determine manufacturing methods and line loading for new products and customer orders.
• Plan and design tooling such as jigs, fixtures and special tools.
• Evaluate existing machinery and develop technical specifications for new equipment and capital projects.
• Outline workflow, material handling, storage and workplace layout.
• Prepare complete line‑ups and provide training and technical support to operators and leaders.
• Support Lean, Six Sigma and Pro Launch activities through process maps, standard work, takt times, FMEA, DOE, control plans and job safety analyses.
• Estimate manufacturing times, reduce standard times and compile cost analyses for parts, equipment and facilities.
• Recommend equipment replacements, manage expenditures and prepare reports on new methods.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions, ensure safety compliance and support EQS initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or related engineering.
• Extensive experience in stamping or manufacturing engineering, preferably in a senior role.
• Proven project management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical ability and experience with cost analysis and safety compliance.
