Senior Tax Accountant – Queretaro

About the role

Envalior is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join its Finance team in Queretaro. The professional will ensure the company’s tax compliance with Mexican regulations and support strategic fiscal planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review the annual Informative Declaration of the Taxpayer’s Situation (SIPRED/ISSIF) in accordance with Mexican tax law.
• Calculate, file and submit ISR, VAT, IEPS, withholding and DIOT returns, provisional payments and electronic accounting reports.
• Supervise VAT refund processes to improve cash‑flow.
• Monitor tax reforms and provide timely updates to internal and corporate stakeholders.
• Act as the legal tax representative, coordinating with internal and external auditors and Mexican authorities (SAT, IMSS).
• Prepare documentation for Local File and Master File transfer‑pricing audits.
• Review payroll‑related taxes (ISN, IMSS, INFONAVIT) on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Lead fiscal aspects of acquisitions, business unit closures and system implementations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Mexican corporate tax compliance and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of ISR, VAT, IEPS, DIOT and payroll tax obligations.
• Ability to interpret and apply recent tax reforms.
• Experience acting as a tax liaison with auditors and tax authorities.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
