Shift Area Manager – Logistics Operations

About the role

Amazon Logistics is looking for a Shift Area Manager to lead a delivery station in Chihuahua. You will be responsible for ensuring safety, service quality, customer experience and productivity while managing a team of Process Assistants and Delivery Service Providers.

Key responsibilities

• Review operational forecasts and set productivity targets for the sort operation.
• Lead daily station activities, including meetings, training, job assignment and communication with DSPs and drivers.
• Monitor sorting operations, driver dispatch and overall performance metrics.
• Support safety programs and maintain a safe work environment.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement initiatives using Lean tools.
• Perform hands‑on tasks such as receiving, scanning and moving shipments up to 25 kg.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of direct management experience.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement or Lean techniques.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking).
