Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager based in Mexico to lead our local social media operations and shape a compelling content strategy. The role combines brand storytelling with performance‑driven tactics to boost our online presence and audience engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute localized social media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube.
• Build monthly content calendars aligned with branding and campaign objectives.
• Manage day‑to‑day social media operations, publishing schedules and community engagement.
• Monitor social sentiment and proactively manage online reputation.
• Collaborate with design, branding and marketing teams to create localized content, including UGC, trend‑based, educational and campaign storytelling.
• Support influencer, KOL/KOC campaign execution and ensure all content matches brand positioning and local tone.
• Analyze platform performance, audience behavior and campaign effectiveness, delivering regular reports and actionable insights.
• Stay updated on algorithm changes, social trends and competitive activities in Mexico.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing or content marketing.
• Deep understanding of Mexican internet culture, social trends and consumer behavior.
• Proven track record managing brand social media accounts at scale.
• Experience in fintech, lifestyle, consumer internet or startup brands is preferred.
• Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
