Software Engineer – AI‑Powered Call Center

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Altur’s AI‑driven call‑center platform in Mexico City. You will work directly with the founders on real‑time voice pipelines, LLM orchestration and core infrastructure that serves major Latin‑American financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Ship code daily and see it running in production the next day.
• Develop and maintain real‑time voice pipelines handling thousands of concurrent calls.
• Build and scale core infrastructure such as Kafka event pipelines, Redis, and telephony services.
• Integrate large language models into low‑latency production systems.
• Collaborate with banking clients to translate business constraints into product decisions.

• Interest in AI’s potential to transform legacy industries.

Required skills

• Solid fundamentals in Python and SQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Git.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Redis and real‑time voice/telephony systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices.
• Experience with Django and PostgreSQL (preferred).
• Proficiency in Go (preferred).
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure, especially AWS (a plus).
