Software Engineer

About the role

Paylocity, an award‑winning provider of cloud‑based HR and payroll solutions, is looking for a Software Engineer to join its Product & Technology team in Guadalajara. This full‑time position will help enhance the company’s all‑in‑one platform, improve employee experiences, and support the rapid growth of one of G2’s Top 100 Software Companies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications following established best practices.
• Contribute to product road‑maps and feature development for the HR and payroll suite.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
• Help ensure the platform remains reliable, secure, and performant for a global user base.

Required profile

• Based in Guadalajara or surrounding areas with the right to work in Mexico.
• Available to work within four hours of Eastern Standard Time.
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
