Software Engineer - Robotics Simulation

About the role

We are looking for a Robotics Simulation Software Engineer to create and maintain high‑fidelity simulation platforms that support the development and testing of autonomous guided vehicles, fleet management systems, and web‑based controllers. The role combines strong software engineering expertise with a solid understanding of autonomous navigation and simulation technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain simulation tools and frameworks for validating robotics applications across diverse operating conditions.
• Build virtual environments that accurately model warehouse, manufacturing, and intralogistics operations.
• Create scalable simulation architectures capable of supporting large fleets of autonomous mobile robots.
• Enable early‑stage validation of fleet management software without physical hardware, including automated test scenarios and performance benchmarks.
• Analyze gaps between simulated and real‑world behavior and continuously improve simulation accuracy.
• Integrate simulation tools into CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and continuous validation.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, systems engineers, and robotics teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Apply software quality practices such as code reviews, unit testing, and system testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Linux‑based development environments.
• Experience developing software for robotics, autonomous systems, or industrial automation.
