About the role
The Specialist Underwriting Assistant supports the underwriting team in Mexico City by handling renewal preparation, system configuration, and policy issuance. You will work closely with multinational partners to ensure accurate data and smooth processing of insurance documents.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare renewals in underwriting systems and set up new accounts (GLMS, PPA, DWF, etc.).
- Create and hand off CoE sheets, translate Statements of Values (SOV), and coordinate multinational inputs.
- Prepare and issue quotes, binders/slips, and policies, then finalize GLMS entries and perform data quality checks.
- Manage endorsements and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards.
Required skills
- Experience with GLMS system.
- Familiarity with PPA platform.
- Knowledge of DWF system.
