About the role

Uber Mexico is looking for a strategic, execution‑driven leader to join its Taxi team. You will own the scaling strategy for taxi operations across Mexico, work closely with cross‑functional partners, and drive growth through data‑informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own a comprehensive strategy for aggressive scaling of the taxi business.
• Collaborate with Policy, Legal and Business Development to define launch and expansion plans.
• Design city‑ and state‑level strategies, conduct root‑cause analysis, and identify levers for growth.
• Partner with Central Operations to implement new taxi‑specific product features in the Mexican market.
• Oversee project governance, proactively mitigate execution risks, and support senior‑leadership reporting.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting or a related field within high‑growth tech or scale‑up environments.
• Proven track record of building and executing scaling strategies for early‑stage products or business lines.
• Expert program‑management skills leading complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive‑level communication abilities.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
