Staff Mobile Developer (iOS & React Native)

About the role

We are looking for a Staff Mobile Developer who will lead both native iOS and React Native initiatives. You will shape the technical roadmap, mentor the team, and drive the next version of our iOS application while integrating cross‑platform components.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute strategies to keep the team current with iOS and React Native frameworks.
• Anticipate short‑ and medium‑term skill needs and support related development activities.
• Implement effective communication tools and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop new features for the native iOS app and guide React Native module integration.
• Participate in hiring, assess team needs, and interview candidates.
• Establish best practices for the bridge between native and React Native code.
• Champion AI‑assisted development, identify use cases, and set responsible usage guidelines.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional iOS development experience, preferably on customer‑facing apps.
• Strong expertise in Swift and SwiftUI.
• Hands‑on experience with React Native, especially brownfield integration into existing iOS projects.
• Deep understanding of the React Native bridge, JSI, and native module architecture.
• Proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript and the React Native tooling ecosystem (Metro, Hermes, CocoaPods, SPM).
• Regular use of AI tools for coding, code review, testing, and documentation, with the ability to evaluate their output critically.
• Familiarity with unidirectional data‑flow patterns and software design principles.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset across product, design, and engineering teams.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead both iOS and React Native developers.
