Strategic Finance Analyst

About the role

Etsy is seeking an experienced finance professional to join its Strategic Finance group supporting the Product and Engineering organization. The analyst will provide critical analysis and insights that influence company strategy and financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial and operational trends and communicate business impact.
• Build and maintain forecast models for operating expenses and topline items.
• Prepare weekly financial reports for the CFO and CPTO.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics leaders to set goals and forecasts.
• Partner with the FP&A team to develop budgets for the Product and Engineering organization.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance, preferably within a technology or product environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to senior leadership.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and analytics teams.
