Structural Designer – Semiconductor Facilities

About the role

The Structural Designer will support semiconductor manufacturing facility projects, delivering detailed design drawings and BIM models under the guidance of a project engineer. This position handles routine to intermediate structural design tasks for new builds, renovations, and tool installations, with increasing responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Extract and analyze vendor technical documentation, engineering data, sketches, and notes to determine the optimal design approach.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to develop design templates, 3D models, and drawing sheets, ensuring high accuracy and cross‑discipline coordination within a BIM environment.
• Create and maintain AutoCAD drawing templates, blocks, and layer standards specific to semiconductor facility requirements.
• Develop design modifications and tie‑in details for renovation and expansion projects.
• Produce routine layouts, plan views, elevation, and section drawings.
• Stay current with Revit updates, BIM workflows, and emerging design technologies.
• Apply relevant design standards, codes, and best practices.
• Manage time effectively to meet design deadlines in a fast‑paced environment and coordinate with project managers and other design disciplines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while delivering quality work on schedule.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with project teams.
• Willingness to adopt AI‑enhanced design tools and pursue continuous learning.
