Supplier Quality Specialist

About the role

Medline Industries is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist to ensure that all incoming components meet regulatory and quality standards. The role involves reviewing supplier documentation, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Approve QA supply component documents within 24 hours of receipt.
• Verify that component and supplier paperwork is up‑to‑date and accurate.
• Document and communicate errors or inconsistencies to internal and external groups.
• Ensure correct coding (QW, CH) and accurate assignment of information to components and suppliers.
• Research regulations and guidance to confirm data correctness.
• Provide clarification and training on regulatory procedures.
• Participate in periodic audits and follow up on non‑conformities.
• Communicate product quality issues, data analysis, and trends to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve quality processes and documentation.
• Lead root‑cause analysis, develop trend reports, and manage material non‑conformances.
• Track, trend, and report supplier non‑conformance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in quality control or supply chain, preferably in the medical, pharmaceutical, food or personal‑care industry.
• Fluent in English (bilingual preferred).
• Effective communication and collaborative teamwork skills.
• Self‑motivated with a bias for action.
