Supply Chain Planning Analyst I

About the role

The Supply Chain Planning Analyst I will support Caterpillar's global supply chain operations by managing outsourcing needs, purchase orders, and vendor‑managed inventory. This role works closely with master planners and customers to ensure accurate pricing, supplier selection, and data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with master planners on outsourcing requirements and establish blanket purchase orders and VMI arrangements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for supply‑chain processes.
• Provide pricing information and assist customers in supplier selection.
• Maintain and support supply‑chain application systems, ensuring data accuracy in SAP and inventory management tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical or related field.
• Basic to intermediate English proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory control.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP WM and IM (basic to intermediate level).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially intermediate to advanced Excel.
• AutoCAD competency.
• Familiarity with CREO system.
