Supply Chain Scheduler

About the role

The Supply Chain Scheduler is responsible for ensuring that raw material and component inventories are aligned with production needs and customer demand. This role monitors Master Production Schedule (MPS) performance, manages supplier service rates, and drives inventory reduction initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Track inventory levels of raw materials and component families and propose preventive actions to meet MPS targets.
• Measure Supplier Service Rate (SSR) for each supplier and develop action plans to improve service levels.
• Generate weekly forecasts for suppliers based on Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) and the MPS.
• Monitor daily material arrivals, ensure timely shipments, and communicate precise information to suppliers.
• Participate in logistics and purchasing meetings, follow up on related action plans, and support implementation of pull‑flow, Kanban, EDI, and milk‑run processes.
• Define inbound transportation plans with the external flow analyst and support inventory counting activities.
• Alert sales and management in case of supply crises, coordinate escalation, and maintain backup coverage for supplier accounts.

Required profile

• Experience in inventory management and supplier coordination within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor MPS performance and supplier service metrics.
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external suppliers, adapting frequency and method as needed.
• Proactive attitude for identifying bottlenecks and implementing quick corrective actions.
