Supply Planner – Materials, PO, Inventory & Capacity

About the role

Hunter Douglas is seeking a proactive Supply Planner to manage supply requirements, inventory strategies, and capacity planning for its final assembly sites in North America. Reporting to the Supply Planning Lead, you will provide strategic insights to close supply gaps, mitigate risks, and ensure high levels of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain supply plans that reduce inventory and operating costs while maximizing service levels.
• Set inventory targets and adjust planning parameters such as lead times, WIP exclusions, and MOQs.
• Review and adjust inventory tolerances to achieve optimal stock levels.
• Collaborate with Demand and Procurement teams to resolve forecast discrepancies and excess inventory issues.
• Lead initiatives across the product lifecycle, including new product launches, pipeline builds, and end‑of‑life planning.
• Analyze excess and obsolete inventory, assess risks for discontinuations, and develop mitigation strategies.
