Tax & Accounting Manager

About the role

Sanhua, a leading HVAC&R manufacturer, is seeking a Tax & Accounting Manager for its industrial park in Saltillo, Mexico. The role will lead tax strategy, compliance, and risk management across the organization, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and Mexican tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute tax strategies that optimize the company’s tax position and profitability while ensuring full compliance.
• Oversee federal, state, and local tax obligations, guaranteeing accurate and timely filing of returns, payments, and reports.
• Analyze tax impacts of transactions, investments, and operations, providing recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to align business decisions with tax strategy and compliance requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks through effective controls, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as primary liaison with tax authorities, managing audits, inquiries, negotiations, and dispute resolution.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and proactively implement actions to maintain compliance and optimize outcomes.

Required profile

• Master's degree completed in Taxation, Tax Law, or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Proven experience in corporate taxation, tax compliance, and tax planning.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tax audits and interact with tax authorities.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican tax legislation, corporate income tax, VAT, and related compliance requirements.
