Tax Analyst

About the role

Kiewit Mexico is seeking a Tax Analyst to support tax compliance and reporting across its diverse engineering and construction projects. The role focuses on ensuring accurate tax calculations, timely filings, and the implementation of optimization strategies within Mexican regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Support all tax compliance and reporting activities, including income tax, VAT, payroll taxes, DIOT, ISSIF, SIPRED, and transfer pricing.
• Implement tax optimization strategies, monitor new regulations, and identify tax risks or opportunities.
• Propose and quantify alternatives that impact accounting and tax outcomes.
• Coordinate internal and external tax audits and act as liaison with tax authorities.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with external tax advisors and consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax management.
• Proven ability to calculate and file estimated income tax payments, withholding taxes for VAT and income tax, and monthly/annual tax calculations.
• Intermediate proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP.
• Experience with CONTPAQ REPSE compliance validation.
