Tax Analyst

About the role

Givaudan is looking for a Tax Analyst to support the International Tax Directors and Head of Tax in managing global tax compliance and reporting. Based in San Angel, CDMX, you will work four days onsite and one day remote, contributing to corporate income, withholding, and indirect tax filings across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate income tax, withholding tax, and indirect tax returns (VAT/GST, sales tax, excise).
• File all indirect tax reports in compliance with local laws and monitor data integrity across filings.
• Maintain VAT‑related tables in SAP and respond to tax authority inquiries.
• Perform analytical reviews of balance‑sheet accounts, investigate abnormal payments, and produce monthly fiscal analyses.
• Assist with tax audits, gather documentation, and support internal or external inquiries.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate updates to senior tax leaders.
• Contribute to the improvement of tax compliance tools, systems, and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in taxation, accounting or finance (internship or junior experience acceptable).
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of SAP‑GTS and customs/import‑export regulations.
