Tax Associate

About the role

Prologis is seeking a Tax Associate to ensure timely compliance with federal tax obligations, manage tax audits, and support tax planning initiatives. The role supervises junior tax staff and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to uphold the company’s tax strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and verify monthly tax prepayment calculations and ensure accurate submission to external providers.
• Oversee the payment of monthly, annual, and ad‑hoc federal taxes, including withholding tax on foreign payments.
• Maintain compliance with FIBRA tax requirements and stay current on regulations such as Thin Capitalization and Interest Deduction Limits.
• Lead the preparation, review, and filing of annual tax returns, refunds, and supporting documentation.
• Analyze official notices, coordinate audit responses, and maintain records of ongoing and closed audits.
• Perform detailed tax‑planning analysis, calculate annual tax provisions, and support year‑end financial close processes.
• Assist with strategic initiatives such as cash repatriation, dividend distributions, and refinancing activities.

Required profile

• Experience supervising junior tax staff and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of federal tax compliance, audit procedures, and tax‑planning concepts.
• Ability to interpret and apply evolving tax regulations.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills.
