Tax Manager

About the role

ArcelorMittal Mexico is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead the company’s tax function across its global operations. The role will ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations while developing strategies to optimise the group’s tax position.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with tax laws in all jurisdictions where the company operates.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to mitigate risks and avoid double taxation, aligned with BEPS principles and international treaties.
• Maintain relationships with tax authorities, represent the company in audits and manage fiscal matters.
• Identify global tax risks and opportunities, providing actionable solutions.
• Lead and develop the internal tax team and coordinate with external advisors.
• Supervise preparation and review of tax filings, compliance reports and related analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (required); Master’s in Taxation, Finance or Tax Law (preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of tax experience, preferably in multinational corporations.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
• Advanced Excel for tax analysis.
• Experience with advanced tax analysis tools.
