Tax Manager – Mexico

About the role

Continental is looking for a motivated Tax Manager to lead the tax function for its Tires business in Mexico, covering two plants and sales operations. The role acts as a strategic business partner, supporting decision‑making and driving financial performance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with legal, statutory and group tax requirements, including VAT recovery and corporate tax filings.
• Lead and develop a tax organization, providing direct leadership and coaching.
• Support strategic initiatives such as M&A, integration projects and network development.
• Serve as a sparring partner to the Managing Director and participate in the management team.
• Manage transfer pricing compliance, BEPS reporting and related documentation.
• Prepare and approve monthly tax declarations, statutory tax reports and transfer pricing studies.
• Coordinate with Finance areas on new tax reporting requirements and contract tax implications.
• Identify tax risks and opportunities, communicate proactively and implement solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate tax compliance, VAT recovery and transfer pricing.
• Leadership experience with direct responsibility for a tax team.
• Ability to act as a strategic partner to senior management.
• Strong analytical skills to provide insights and support business steering.
