Tax Specialist

About the role

Forvia, a global leader in sustainable mobility technology, is looking for a Tax Specialist to ensure accurate tax compliance across its operations. You will work closely with finance, accounting, treasury and tax teams to manage corporate tax obligations and support the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and review monthly and annual taxes (Corporate Income Tax, VAT, withholding, local taxes).
• Prepare and file provisional and annual tax returns on time.
• Monitor informational reporting obligations such as VAT informative returns and related‑party disclosures.
• Calculate deferred taxes in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Analyze and reconcile tax‑related accounting accounts (creditable VAT, VAT payable, provisional payments).
• Handle inquiries, audits and reviews conducted by tax authorities.
• Stay up‑to‑date with tax reforms and assess their impact on the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting; specialization or Master’s in Tax Law/Taxation preferred.
• 3‑5 years of experience in tax departments of medium/large companies or in a Big Four/recognised tax consulting firm.
• Strong knowledge of current tax legislation and ability to interpret complex rules.
• High level of accountability, analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills.
