Technical Project Manager (Presales)

About the role

As a Technical Project Manager dedicated to the Presales organization at KMS Technology Mexico, you will be the operational driver behind every new customer pursuit. You will partner closely with Solutions Architects and the presales team to convert opportunities into wins, ensuring each proposal reflects the company’s full technical depth.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end project management for new customer pursuits, from qualification through proposal submission and hand‑off to delivery.
• Partner with Sales and Solutions Architects to define win themes, response strategy and resource requirements.
• Manage multiple concurrent pursuits, prioritising based on deal value, strategic fit and timelines.
• Lead the full RFI/RFP/RFQ lifecycle: intake, decomposition, compliance review, coordination of writing and final submission.
• Break down complex requirements into structured response plans, assign sections to contributors and track progress.
• Drive quality‑control reviews with architects, SMEs and leadership to ensure technical accuracy and commercial soundness.
• Identify mandatory requirements, scoring criteria and contractual risks, escalating to legal or executive teams when needed.
• Build and maintain a reusable library of response content, case studies and technical assets.
• Coordinate Solutions Architects across pursuits, facilitating solutioning workshops and capturing decisions.

Required profile

• Strong project‑management experience in a presales or bid‑management environment.
• Ability to translate ambiguous customer needs into clear, structured responses.
• Excellent coordination skills with cross‑functional teams, including Sales, Architects and SMEs.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on compliance, risk identification and quality control.
• Technical fluency sufficient to challenge assumptions and represent the company credibly to prospects.
