Technician III

About the role

Corning is seeking a Technician III to support its innovative glass, ceramic and materials science operations. The role involves performing a variety of technical duties, leading projects to improve process efficiency, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Recommend changes to methods and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Provide feedback, coaching and training to colleagues.
• Coordinate work of others and ensure compliance with confidentiality requirements.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and resolve problems.
• Design and conduct basic experiments.
• Maintain internal customer relations and interact with external contacts as needed.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Moderate knowledge of job content.
• 1‑3 years of relevant work experience.
• Track record of performance in the chosen field.
• Bachelor’s degree is desired.
