Technician III

About the role

The Technician III performs a variety of key technical duties and leads projects aimed at improving process and technical efficiency within Corning’s innovative manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Recommend changes to methods and procedures to enhance productivity.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and training to colleagues as needed.
• Coordinate the work of others and ensure proper confidentiality status of materials.
• Analyze facts to identify root causes and resolve technical problems.
• Design and execute basic experiments.
• Maintain internal customer relations and interact with external contacts when required.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Moderate knowledge of job content and processes.
• 1‑3 years of relevant work experience with a successful performance track record.
• Desired: Bachelor’s degree.
