Traffic Coordinator

About the role

The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for managing the import and export logistics that keep Mary Kay Mexico’s distribution center stocked for Independent Beauty Consultants. This role ensures smooth documentation, timely shipments, and accurate financial processing across international and local supply chains.

Key responsibilities

• Manage import and export processes, including document preparation, duty calculation, and supplier fee payments (25%).
• Track incoming sea, air, and truck shipments; provide complete customs and shipping documents to warehouses, brokers, and freight lines (25%).
• Maintain effective communication with warehouse supervisors, customs brokers, carriers, manufacturers, and global logistics teams to balance workload and avoid stock‑outs (20%).
• Follow up on freight and import/export fee payments, reconcile quotations, and record services in JDE ERP (20%).
• Oversee labeling compliance with government regulations before shipment (remaining time).

Required profile

• Experience in import/export logistics and customs documentation within Mexico.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documentation streams.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and ensure financial accuracy.

Required skills

• JDE (JD Edwards) ERP system proficiency.
