Training Specialist – Technical & Interpersonal Development

About the role

The Training Specialist I IC is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance both technical and interpersonal skills of manufacturing employees. The role supports new‑hire onboarding, ongoing skill development, and certification processes while ensuring alignment with ISO and IPC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom training on first and second shifts, mastering at least 10 core manufacturing programs.
• Apply adult‑learning principles to maximize training effectiveness and achieve satisfaction ratings of 9.0/10.0.
• Maintain accurate training records, test scores, and certification data in the training database.
• Identify skill gaps, develop instructional materials, lesson plans, and JIT modules using appropriate software.
• Provide post‑class support, on‑the‑job training, and timely feedback to management.
• Certify and re‑certify manufacturing employees according to company guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, IPC, and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred).
• 1‑3 years of experience delivering training in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing concepts, IPC standards, and ISO procedures.
• Ability to schedule classes, manage records with 100% accuracy, and meet performance appraisal standards.
