Transformer Service Project Manager

About the role

Join Siemens Energy’s Transmission team as a Transformer Service Project Manager, leading transformer service projects from inception through delivery. You will coordinate with customers, internal experts and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of transformer service projects, including Dress & Test (D&T) and warranty work.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets exceeding $1 million and communication strategies for stakeholders.
• Review contracts, specifications and scope to identify risks before launch.
• Monitor labor, material costs and productivity to forecast revenue and profit.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field service teams and internal groups to achieve successful project closure and handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field (or Associate’s degree with relevant experience).
• 5+ years of experience in electrical installation or construction management, preferably on transformer projects over $1 million.
• Proven leadership and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20 % domestically and internationally.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
