Transformer Warranty Project Manager

About the role

Join Siemens Energy’s Transmission team as a Transformer Warranty Project Manager. You will own warranty projects from inception to handover, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule targets are met while collaborating with customers, internal teams, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of transformer warranty projects, from start‑up to final closure.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and communication strategies for customers and Siemens Energy stakeholders.
• Review contracts, specifications, budgets and scope to ensure alignment and risk awareness before project kickoff.
• Monitor labor, material costs and productivity to maintain strong project control and accurate revenue/profit forecasts.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field service teams and internal specialists to meet milestones and deliver successful handovers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred; Associate’s degree with equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of electrical installation or construction project management experience in the transformer industry, including projects with budgets over $1 million.
• Strong leadership and proven collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across program management, engineering, operations and logistics.
• Experience in subcontractor management, risk management, project communications, commercial reporting and project closure processes.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer‑sponsored visa.
