Transport Planner – Supply Chain

About the role

The Transport Planner will ensure smooth and efficient movement of goods for Audi Mexico. Working within the supply chain network, you will plan, optimise and monitor inbound transportation, aligning with purchasing, legal and financial guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate existing transport processes against plant requirements and Audi/VW Group strategy.
• Coordinate inbound optimisation projects to reduce transportation costs for series models, components and spare parts.
• Define KPIs, assess carrier performance and ensure compliance with business rules and shipping instructions.
• Secure transportation capacity through tenders and manage carrier contracts, including emergency (spot‑market) transport.
• Calculate and monitor transportation costs, identifying risks and opportunities relative to the annual budget.
• Lead feasibility studies, pilots and implementation of new transport or logistics services.
• Represent Audi Mexico in Audi/VW group working groups to standardise processes and develop joint tenders.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in transport or supply‑chain planning.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably International Business, Supply Chain Management or Logistics).
• Project management skills and ability to conduct business‑case analysis.
• Advanced English proficiency.
