US HR Coordinator

About the role

The HR Coordinator will join Inter-Con's Compliance team, supporting the Director of Employee Relations & Leave Administration. This position focuses on leave of absence administration, unemployment and disability claim processing, and general HR administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of leave of absence matters, including tracking and reporting.
• Process and respond to unemployment and disability claims.
• Triage emails from the leave of absence mailbox and provide timely responses.
• Generate leave‑related reports for internal stakeholders.
• Communicate with employees regarding leave status, deadlines, and required documentation.
• Perform additional administrative duties as needed to support the HR team.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in an HR coordinator or support role with increasing responsibility.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Paycom.
• Strong project‑management abilities and the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated good judgment, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Positive, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced team environment.
