Vice President, Enterprise Strategy – North LAC

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Vice President of Enterprise Strategy to shape and drive strategic growth across Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. The role partners closely with the Division President and senior leadership to define, translate, and execute enterprise and regional priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the Division’s long‑term strategic roadmap aligned with enterprise priorities and regional growth ambitions.
• Lead annual and multi‑year strategic planning processes, including market prioritization, portfolio strategy, and resource allocation.
• Translate strategy into clear objectives, KPIs, and execution frameworks to drive accountability.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on growth, competitive positioning, and transformation priorities.
• Lead high‑priority strategic initiatives, delivering rigorous analyses and actionable insights.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging market developments to shape the regional opportunity pipeline.
• Lead inorganic growth initiatives such as M&A strategy, target identification, commercial due diligence, valuation support, and integration planning.
• Build business cases for new investments, innovation initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
• Lead the Sales Excellence function, embedding commercial rigor, performance management, and data‑driven decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise and regional strategy development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead M&A and inorganic growth initiatives.
• Strong track record in sales excellence, commercial analytics, and performance management.
