Warehouse Operations Specialist

About the role

LyondellBasell is seeking a Warehouse Operations Specialist to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient material flow within its plant operations. The role supports production and customer requirements while maintaining strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records.
• Coordinate inbound raw material receipts, manage railcar logistics, and ensure material availability aligned with the production plan.
• Monitor inventory levels, apply FIFO principles, and generate receiving documentation for traceability.
• Schedule outbound shipments, validate order readiness, and execute shipping processes in SAP.
• Coordinate transportation with external warehouses and third‑party carriers to guarantee on‑time deliveries.
• Make real‑time operational decisions to resolve disruptions and halt any non‑compliant activity.
• Place purchase requisitions for the warehouse department and support any additional functions related to the position.

Required profile

• Experience in warehouse or material handling environments.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and cycle count procedures.
• Ability to follow safety, quality, and environmental standards rigorously.
• Capability to make quick operational decisions and manage logistics disruptions.

Required skills

• SAP (material management and shipping modules).
